Message from Mrs. Leavitt
Many thanks to the Founders’ parent community and the PTO. Your never-ending support is greatly appreciated. We all, as a school and community, cleared the hurdles of our mid-year transition and are ending strong and united in our effort to provide and support a strong traditional, classical education for all of our students. Currently, there are very few unfilled positions and those are expected to be filled this week. It has been an honor to work with the students, staff, and parents these past five months. I believe in the mission of the school and have no doubt that Mr. Fick will take the school to the next level based on his successful background in school operations and his sincere interest in student success. Have a safe and enjoyable summer.

The directors of the BCSI at Hillsdale College have recommended to all of their schools that specific summer reading not be required. However, we strongly recommend that all students be encouraged to read during the summer to enhance their comprehension skills and reinforce word recognition, especially in elementary school. Current eighth graders are strongly encouraged to purchase and read Fagle’s Translation of The Odyssey, as their Classical Literature class will make many references to this book during the year.
Senior High School Graduation
We will be holding our first graduation ceremony on May 25 at 6 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room. We are very proud of our seniors and wish them much success and happiness in their future endeavors.

Due to the grading process in Infinite Campus, parents and students will not be able to access the Parent and Student Portal beginning Thursday, May 18 and running until report cards are completed, approximately the 2nd week in June.
